Some are called to go and others are called to send. Here at Wilmot Centre we are able to help send others to areas around the world in order to share the gospel and the love of Christ. We live in a country that is truly blessed. The least we can do is share with those around the world who live in poverty, not only physically, but spiritually as well. Proverbs 14:13 talks about the poor and giving to the needy. "He who oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker. But whoever is kind to the needy honours God." Jesus said we are to "Go and make disciples of all nations". We feel that missions are a vital way we as a church can help fulfil these mandates. We can contribute through our prayer support and financial help. This is an opportunity to help make a difference for many lives around the world. For those who have answered the call to go, our support helps them carry out the work that the Lord has called them to. We are blessed as a church to be able to play a small part in their work and to hear from all of our missionaries around the world about all that God is doing.
