What to Expect at Wilmot Centre

Wilmot Centre Missionary Church is made up of real people with real joys and real struggles.

A typical Sunday morning worship service at Wilmot Centre will run about 90 minutes and will include dynamic worship in a modern style, prayer and other church community events, and a life-impacting message from one of our pastors or a guest.

boys_whattoexpect.jpgDuring the 9am service, there are programs for children age 3 - grade 8, and during the 11am service from age 3 - grade 5.  The kids start the service with everybody else and an announcement will let you know when you can take your kids down for their classes.  There is a prevention plan for kids so that you can always feel safe about their care during the service.  There is also a nursery program for infants and toddlers, and these children may be brought downstairs before the service or with the rest of the kids.  An usher will always be available to steer you in the right direction if you aren't sure where to go.

People dress however they feel comfortable:  some people prefer to wear nicer clothes on Sunday mornings, others prefer jeans or shorts, and everyone fits in.

Visitors are invited to join us freely without any sort of expectation to give money.  In fact no offering plate will be passed around: instead, there are offering boxes inside the doorways of the church for our regular attenders.
